Vector Art

For the first time, I tried using the pen tool in Photoshop 7 just this afternoon. I really found it very easy.

Responding to Seishin’s challenge, I worked on my first vector art right after. I used my high school graduation picture as my source. Below is the result of hours of work.

I know it lacks more life as I still have to master stroking, shadowing and picking the right colors in Photoshop. But I can work on that through practice.

Anyway, I’d finally be graduating from college tomorrow. Hay… hay…

At The Tricycle Terminal

Coming home late at night from the office, I overheard the tricycle drivers making fun of the neighborhood deaf guy who was, well, funny in his own right. You would be laughing out loud if you saw what happened.

One of the drivers was enjoying music from his mp3 player and was telling everybody how good the song was. A conversation about the song ensued among the drivers. This caught the interest of the neighborhood deaf.

 

Weltschmerz Revitalized

Wow! It’s been what? 2 years since my last blog entry? I feel like a rookie, a noobie, a virgin… Hey, I still AM a virgin. Scratch that!

There. Having no blogging practice has left me rusty. Gotta sharpen my skills (or lack thereof) again.

Finally! I am nearing the end of my college life. I’ll be graduating come April or May. The school hasn’t set a date of graduation just yet. I’m currently undergoing my practicum at a prestigious hotel in the Ortigas vicinity.

I’ve decided not to import my past blog entries from Blogger. My outlook in life has changed since those days. But, the old entries still are a part of what I am right now so I kept the old blogsite up for my private viewing.
